A Day in the Life of Jack: Beech Tree Carpentry’s Hardest-Working Dog

The Foreman with Four Paws

At Beech Tree Carpentry, everyone works hard — including our most loyal team member, Jack.

A True Cape Cod Working Dog

Jack’s day starts with a quick inspection of Leighton’s breakfast, followed by a quality-control walk at the National Seashore (aka, sniffing every stick within reach). Whether he’s riding shotgun in the truck, supervising deck builds, or greeting clients with a smile, Jack takes his duties seriously — until nap time.

You gonna fire the grill up or should I?

When the tools quiet down, Jack enjoys a nap on the couch, a quick chicken headcount at home, and long walks… to the kitchen. He may not handle the saw, but he’s got the heart of a true Cape Cod craftsman — loyal, reliable, and always happy to lend a paw.

Built for Coastal Life

Just like the rest of our team, Jack is built for Cape Cod living — loyal, weather-ready, and happiest near the ocean. He’s seen his share of historic homes, new decks, and kitchen remodels, always making sure Leighton doesn’t forget snack breaks between projects.

So next time you see Beech Tree Carpentry’s truck around the Cape, look for the co-pilot with the softest snout and the best work ethic on four legs.
